Along Highway 46 in eastern Michigan is a small community known as Hemlock. The unincorporated community is in Saginaw County and located about 15 miles west of Saginaw, Michigan. According to a United States Census Bureau report, the community known as Hemlock has become populated by about 1,500 people as of 2000.
